James is a newly admitted Solicitor who recently joined P&E Law’s Cairns office, working primarily on our Native Title matters.

James has legal experience in a broad range of matters, including Native Title Law, Commercial Law, Criminal Law and Family Law. James’ previous careers include serving in the Australian Army and in the Queensland Police Service, bringing with him the associated skills essential for those careers, such as trustworthiness, attention to detail and a passion for social justice issues.

Outside of work, James keeps active by going fishing and playing Oztag, and he regularly volunteers his time to help others, having volunteered in the SES, Australian Air Force Cadets (AAFC), and Edmond Rice Camps. James currently volunteers with the PCYC by mentoring disadvantaged young adults ‘close the gap’ and obtain their independence.
