The P&E Law team recently exchanged their work gear for golf gear, joining fellow legal professionals at the annual Sunshine Coast Law Association Charity Golf Day! This fantastic event was held to raise vital funds for the Suncoast Community Legal Service, bringing the legal community together for a day of sport, networking, and giving back.
The stunning Twin Waters Golf Course provided the perfect backdrop for the Ambrose-format tournament. After a month of dreary weather, the sun shone brightly, setting the stage for a truly enjoyable day out on the greens. It was a wonderful opportunity for our hardworking P&E Law team members to step away from their desks, enjoy the fresh air, and engage in some friendly competition.
Our four-member P&E Law team arrived ready for a day of fun and camaraderie, hitting the course with determination. The camaraderie and competitive spirit were evident throughout the day, as our team navigated the course with skill and good humour. One team member’s excellent stroke style was particularly noteworthy, showcasing precision and power on the greens.
The event wasn’t just about golf; it was a chance to strengthen ties within the Sunshine Coast legal community, fostering a spirit of collaboration and mutual support while contributing to a highly deserving cause. Each hole on the course was generously sponsored by local businesses, whose colourful banners and giveaways added a festive touch to the day. To keep the energy high and the smiles wide, many holes featured entertaining games and challenges — from longest drive contests to spinning the wheel and teeing off like Happy Gilmore, or chipping into red cups with foam golf balls and a children’s golf stick. These light-hearted activities not only added a fun twist to the traditional game but also helped raise additional funds through small entry fees. The combination of competitive spirit, community support, and creative entertainment made the day one to remember.The Suncoast Community Legal Service provides invaluable assistance to those in need, and P&E Law is proud to support such a crucial organisation.
