Veronika graduated from James Cook University with a Bachelor of Laws in September 2026 and is currently undertaking her Practical Legal Training (PLT) through the College of Law while working as a Paralegal.

She previously worked as a Law Clerk with the firm while completing her legal studies, giving her a strong understanding of the firm’s practices and a particular interest in Planning and Environment and Native Title law.

Growing up in Cooktown and Cape York, Veronika brings a strong connection to the region and a valuable local perspective to her work. She has a keen interest in native title and Indigenous legal issues and is passionate about contributing to matters that affect communities across Far North Queensland and Cape York.

Outside of work and her studies, Veronika enjoys spending time with her family in Cooktown, going to the gym, reading, and working in her family’s earthmoving business, which services communities throughout Cape York.
