Kellie has proudly called the Sunshine Coast home for 21 years, during which time she has raised a family, been an active member of the local community, established a successful career in varied fields and found all the best coffee spots on the Coast! Kellie attributes much of her success in her career to her hospitality background which began at the tender age of 15. Decades in hospitality gave Kellie an exceptional work ethic, strong communication and negotiation skills, patience and an understanding of the importance of prompt first-class customer service. Annie has over 30 years’ experience in various secretarial and Executive Assistant roles in Engineering, Mining and Law.  She moved to Cairns in 2016 with her family from Perth and had been working in family law until the practice closed in June 2023.  Annie took the opportunity to travel throughout NT with her family in their off-road camper for six weeks which was an experience that they all thoroughly enjoyed. On her return to Cairns, Annie took the opportunity to join P&E Law and develop her skills in planning and environment law. Outside of work Annie is a volunteer for her local tennis club as Vice President and is the club representative on the FNQ Regional Assembly for Tennis Queensland. Amber has an administration background, having worked previously in general practice medicine as a receptionist in a busy doctor’s surgery.  Amber is highly organised and brings her bubbly personality and ‘can-do’ attitude to work each day. Amber is born and bred on the Sunshine Coast and enjoys activities in the great outdoors such as stand-up paddle boarding, camping and bush walking.

Alison has worked for over 20 years in the legal industry in large, well respected firms in both Brisbane and Cairns. Over this time, she has gained experience in many legal areas including family law, litigation and wills and estates.   Her roles in law firms have been varied including working as a personal assistant, legal secretary and paralegal.  This has given Alison valuable and well-rounded knowledge of the different aspects of how a law practice operates. From 2006 to 2008 Alison took time away from the legal industry when she moved to Mount Isa and worked in the mining industry, working as a personal assistant to the General Manager of Mount Isa Copper Operations, which at the time was part of Xstrata. In her early years Fiona worked as a geologist around Australia’s goldfields, on Pacific Islands and New Guinea until she settled down to family life with her two daughters. Fiona is a dedicated, hard-working employee as well as having a great sense of humour and is a point of contact and assistance to all the firm’s offices for accounts or administration queries. Fiona is an early riser and can be found most mornings walking the beach or swimming in the ocean. Her latest additional interest is participating in women’s cricket which comes with lots of social events much to Fiona’s liking!

Shirley became a trainee legal secretary in Darwin at the age of 16 where she stayed until she moved to the Sunshine Coast at age 21. Shirley found work in a legal firm locally before taking time off to have her two beautiful daughters, Molly and Shannon.  Shirley returned to the work force with P&E Law and the rest is history! Shirley is one of our longest serving employees and we are lucky to have such a dedicated, committed and loyal member of the team. Outside of work, Shirley enjoys spending time with her family.  She loves to go shopping, reading, and having a glass…or two of wine.  Her one true love though, is Bear, her fluffy dog.

In the first ten years of the life of the firm Gaye was our accounts manager.  She has since moved roles and now manages our information resources. Gaye provides currency and flow of information, organisation and storage of information, and services research needs.  As a consequence, P&E Law have an excellent specialist library, particularly relative to the size of the firm. As part of the firm's information management, Gaye also coordinates and drives our marketing activities and initiatives. Gaye attributes her longevity as a team member to the firm's exemplary vision and to the exceptional team working there. Yvonne has over 30 years experience as a legal bookkeeper managing accounts from sole traders to law firms with multiple locations. Yvonne’s legal bookkeeping career began on ledger cards so she understands 'behind the scenes' of a complex computerised system. Yvonne is responsible for the firm’s accounts including office, trust and management. Yvonne is a crucial part of the team liaising between clients, colleagues and directors.  Yvonne is fun, approachable and always willing to help, especially if it is a complex problem. Yvonne loves the outdoors and thinks there is nothing better than camping and sitting in a field by a fire with drink in hand surrounded by her family and friends and her two dogs. When not in a field Yvonne can be found strutting her stuff at Zumba.

With strong organisational skills and a proactive approach, Tracey oversees the day-to-day running of the firm while driving innovative projects to improve efficiencies and deliver exceptional client service. She is committed to upholding P&E Law’s core values and ensuring these remain central to the firm’s culture and decision-making.

Before joining P&E Law, Tracey gained extensive experience working in a variety of legal firms across London, Perth, Brisbane, and the Sunshine Coast. She thrives on new challenges and is driven to achieve both personal and professional goals.
