P & E Law Hits the Green for a Good Cause

It isn’t all work and no play at P & E Law!

Our team members Olivia Ng, Georgia Louth, Jared Lane and David Knobel recently spent time out of the office to enjoy a day on the green at the annual Sunshine Coast Lawyers Association charity golf event, raising funds for Suncoast Community Legal Service.

Suncoast Community Legal Service is a not-for-profit organisation providing valuable legal advice, referrals and education to the community.

Held on Kabi Kabi Country at Twin Waters Golf Club, the event combined a great day of golf with the beautiful Sunshine Coast environment — including some local wildlife sharing the course. While there was the occasional birdie hit during the game, our team assures us that no kangaroos were harmed in the making of their drives or slices!

The day was played in an Ambrose format, with novelty activities adding to the fun on some of the greens. There were quoits for the ring-ins, while one challenge involved driving a giant marshmallow instead of a golf ball — useful preparation should anyone ever find themselves called upon to combat the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man!

One of our team members was particularly green to the green, but well and truly held their own.

While our team didn’t take first place — or the wooden spoon — they achieved the most important objective of the day: having fun while supporting a great cause.

A big thank you to our team for representing us and to the Sunshine Coast Lawyers Association for hosting an event we were proud to be part of.
